I am so addicted. Like all the entries at this moment under food or other or gestalt are mine lol

Truth be told I’m ADDICTED to the site and visit everyday. But my beef with it is that they never really define the basic terms. What does “Worth Consuming” mean?

Does that mean it’s worth laying down your hard-earned money to place it in your home collection?

Does it mean it’s worth buying and ‘consuming’ occasionally? Regularly? Daily? Hourly?

Does it mean it’s worth borrowing from the library/a friend to hear/see/taste/read once…but probably not worth more effort than that?

I’ve interpreted it as meaning “It’s worth the time it takes to consume it once” but maybe not any more hearty a recommendation than that.I think it’d be helpful to allow folks a more tiered rating system.

Here’s my suggestion for choices after you’ve “consumed” a product:

I couldn’t finish it
Finished but wish I hadn’t bothered
Worth one try
Good for the occasional consumption (more than once)
I consume this regularly
One of my faves

When people say, “you ought to try more new things” you can point to your history on this site and tell them you are consuming more than enough of them as it is!

I am amazed at how many new and different foods I am eating. I thought I always ate the same thing but there was more variety than I realized.

Kind of disappointed that I am not watching more DVDs, though, since I am paying a flat monthly rate. It is enlightening to see for yourself what you are consuming over time.

Great site, but what the hell happened to the design??? HATE IT!
