First of all, this movie has some very bad stop motion animation. There are a lot of jerky scenes that make the stop motion in the original King Kong look great.

Secondly, the songs stink. Luckily, you can fast forward through them, but fast forwarding through a movie is a bad thing.

Lastly, the plot is a little goofy. Am I to truly believe that the dork was actually going to poison himself so he could be a zombie? Yeah right. That’s believable. Just more Hollywood laziness.

I loved this – the animation is fantastic, and I enjoyed the story – a folk tale well done.
