Basically, this book is exactly what its title says: Pride and Prejudice… and zombies. I love the cover, I love the idea itself, but a whole book of it is just too much. I had hoped the (re)writer would have gotten creative with the plot somewhere, but the plot in no place really differs from the Jane Austen novel. There’s just some zombies dragged in and for some reason to fight zombies you have to be a master in the oriental arts. The lame jokes about balls made me cringe.

I don’t regret buying the book, but only because it looks cool in my bookcase and is a good conversation starter.

It was like reading a good girls diary from the Victorian era and oh by the way, there were zombies. It’s still the only way I’d ever read Jane Austin and now that I have, I never will again!!
