Could have been much better — 22 weeks ago

For the most part I enjoyed the book, and learning about John Perkins involvement in various countries was quite enjoyable. Some aspects of his story are similar to that in ‘Charlie Wilson’s War’.

Unfortunately, what could have been a thoroughly enjoyable book was masked by his endless rants, and completely one sided story.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book is interesting and thought provoking. After reading this you will consider America on a more global scale and really think about how the seemingly mundane affect others.

It is a pity that those with power, education, and money seem to waste it steering things towards their own benefits.

This is a great read for those who are interested in global economics and those who want to read something that is not portrayed in the news or mainstream media.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think this is a book that definitely needs to be more widely read. It has encouraged me to do what I can to remove the inequities between the developed and developing world.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read a few chapters at a coffee shop or in between classes, love it, and will eventually finish it… I have neglected this beauty.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book (if true!) provides a good insight into current events happening around the world from South America to the Middle East. A must read if you are concerned about the future of our planet.
