The only reason I listened to this album was because of the leader Nicole Scherzinger (you don’t have to ask me why) anyway open the booklet for the 2005 debut, PCD, and their artificiality is made clear: the first page reads “All lead and background vocals by Nicole Scherzinger,” she’s a former member of short lived pop group Eden’s Crush. The good thing about this album is the ladies, producers, and songwriters. The song “Don’t Cha,” is pretty “catchy” since the chorus will be stuck in your head for a long time “Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me/Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me.” well… you get the idea.

To make it quite obvious the album is somewhat of a disapointment, but it still has a couple of sweet tunes that will be great for the night, or for strip joints

I’m not sure I really classify this as “Not Worth Listening to”, but it is not totally worth listening to either. It’s OK. Some of the songs are clever and catchy.

But it’s not half as entertaining as, say, Supernature by Goldfrapp.

I have no expectations for this album so that gives it a pretty good chance it will impress me in someway. So far songs have been about demanding their “baby” get them naked, having low expectations for men but still subscribing to their ideals, and pitting themselves against other women because those women were foolish enough to get into a relationship. So I am on board.
