NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Does this really say anything about the human condition?Does highbrow art have to be dull?Does anyone really find this riveting? The sex shows, are they they for anything other than cheap titalation?I cringed when she had his hand on his crotch and came out with the”my father was in the front row” cliche,oh for goodness sake,is that the best you can come up with? So, how do you say pretentious?moi? in French?

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I found it pretty, but not pretty enough to find it worth watching. I guess it’s just not my type of movie.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Even though i saw this film in French, a language i don’t understand at all, it really moved me simply through the emotions emanating from Juliette Binoche, as well as the use of color, sound and light to convey her feelings. This is a very touching, moving film. I need to see it again, because i feel i only skimmed the surface of something beautiful.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’ve wanted to see this film for so long, that I don’t even really remember why, but I’m very glad I did. It was different than I expected, but I’m not sure what I was expecting because I knew very little about it beforehand. The way Kieslowski uses sound and light combined with Juliette Binoche’s powerful performance create a breathtakingly beautiful and emotional film.
