WORTH CONSUMING!

I started off with the impression that this is going to be just another pop album, but listen to “Goodbye My Lover” and you’ll start thinking otherwise.

I say give it a chance, cause you might just find what a gem this is, like how I did.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I was so bored I nearly cried.

Then I just saw sense and turned it off.

The relief was immense. It has been deleted.

James Blunt. Some people love him, some people cant stand him. This album is absolutely amazing, so it isn’t hard to understand just how his album has gone number one in 15 countries.
James has the voice of a fallen angel. His delicate lyrics and soulful voice are both original and inspiring. Great things are going to come from James and I hope his future albums bring as much joy as his first.

WORTH CONSUMING!

i like almost every song on here. i’m not a huge fan of “tears and rain” which everyone else seems to like. i don’t think i’ll be getting sick of this any time soon.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m surprisingly still not tired of the radio-overplayed “Beautiful” song, but I really enjoy several other songs on the CD much more. I’ve been listening to it for weeks now and haven’t had enough.

WORTH CONSUMING!

In a word: Fantastic.

If you are unfamilier with Mr James Blunt, be sure to take the time to check is biography. Admittidly you might find yourself knowning less about him that you already knew, but it really is a great read by The Landlady.

Radio and TV have been playing alot of JBs music last year (2005). Namely ‘High’, ‘Wisemen’ and ‘You’re Beautiful’, but the album is crammed packed full of unreleased gems such as ‘Tears of Rain’ and ‘So Long Jimmy’.

The album is breathtaking, passionate and polite… with a twist of reality. There is no beating around the bush. No holding back in his delivery of the songs that he and friends have written often, while just kickin’ it in a war zone.

There’s a song spoof called “Everyone Sounds Like Coldplay Now.” This album supports that theory. I guess the overplayed second track irks me too much right now… I may get to like this as I listen a few more times. But I usually know I don’t like an album if I hear the chords and think, “Wow, even I could figure this out on my guitar.”
