This is probably going to be my tribute to Ossie Davis; I found out about this movie when it came on on cable. About a girl with a dream to dance; I won’t lie; it’s disjointed, and you may feel you just came into the middle of something like I did, but when you sit down and watch this film, you find that you see what Ossie was trying to convey; A dysfunctional family that was trying to survive from day to day; A daughter with a dream to dance, the other daughters too busy trying to bring folk down, a mother too much into working and a grandmother who tries so hard to keep it real;
