Even though I really liked their first album, “Dance Hall at Louse Point”, a lot more. This one is more filler, paired with guitar-play that’s OK from Harvey and at times brilliant from Parish.
Some songs, like the opening “Black Hearted Love”, really stick and shine, but others, e.g. “Passionless, Pointless” makes me long for the old guns.
Still, alternative and never boring.
