This was cute. I really liked the guy who played Warren Peace. Great insomnia movie, which is what I used it for.

i thought this was cute. i really liked the play on warren peace’s name. good guy + villian= great name.
my favorite part is how the A-list girls, the Edwina’s and Cheryl’s and Martha’s and Kathy’s, are the villains. Just like they really were. They somehow missed the SherryLynn’s and Cathy Jo’s, the big girls always ready to beat me up, but I guess you can’t have everything. Also lovelovelove the adults, how they are referenced from my generation (which is their generation).
Oh, my kids really enjoyed it too. And they’ve never been to school but it helps to have movies to tell them what exactly they are NOT missing!

A cheesy, good-natured romp. It’s actually one of those movies where you pick up more and more little side jokes the more you watch it (the kids I used to nanny for had me watch it with them about forty times- I’ve picked up a lot).
The kids are adorable, the adults are hilarious and the art direction is superb! The plot is silly, but totally enjoyable and the cast plays extremely well off of each other. The ‘moral messages’ are clear and smart.
Few movies use specific colors for their characters so blatantly, but it looks gorgeous and vibrant in this movie.
If you don’t enjoy this movie (even secretly) then you are just an old grump with no imagination.

Corny, predictable – yes to all.
It is however lighthearted and mushy enough to brighten your day. Don’t expect any life changing experiences ;)
All’s well that ends well.
