WORTH CONSUMING!

Technically I haven’t bought the cd. I ripped the songs of Limewire, but I will still count that as consuming their album haha.

I love their songs, most especially Oceans Away and All at Once.

I love the vocalist’s voice, it’s sexy, it’s charming, it’s so appealing!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I took my daughter and boyfriends son to this concert, I won tickets to see the Fray from a local radio station. At the time we went I really didn’t know who The Fray was because they were so new, but I thought it would be fun to take the kids. The concert was small, in one of out local music halls that seats no more then 100 people so it was a nice time. Towards the end of the concert they had an open question session and this was my daughters turn to ask the question she wanted to ask the whole concert. When they offered questions she raised both of her hands so that they could see her since she was so short (4 yrs old) and they called on her. They asked her name and she told them, and then they asked what her question was. She said ” why is he wearing orange shoes?” One of the guys in the band had orange shoes on and she was fascinated by them! They had about a 2 minute conversation with her, asking if she has any orange shoes and just small talk with her. Everyone laughed and then they said, “this song is for you(and then they said her name)”. They sang the song Over My Head to her, and even put her name in the song. After the concert we had a meet and greet with the band and they signed a picture with comments about orange shoes all over the picture. They were really, really nice guys who were down to earth. I will be taking her to the next Fray concert that comes to town because we are both huge fans now.

WORTH CONSUMING!

My buddy Jimmy told me that I’d like this band called The Fray. He was right. I feel like it’s for all the wrong reasons. Maybe it’s just because of certain situations going on right now and how I feel, but The Fray is turning me into a teary-eyed emo girl. The kind with the thick glasses and track jacket.

Maybe the vocalist is just universally sad. Were tears streaming down his face the whole time he and his band recorded this album? Do they all get together and hug after a gig? I’m afraid that I would have to.

Yet I keep pushing play. Who wants to cuddle???
