The author literally lived through every woman’s worst nightmare in real life: my boyfriend dumped me for a famous model. This book is the product. It’s stylized for sure, there is a definite rhythm to the language and frankly not really any plot. Apparently a huge hit in France, even eclipsing the DaVinci Code on the best seller lists…this book will have appeal for some, but not everyone. I kinda liked it. And I would read it over the DaVinci Code, which I have studiously avoided, anyway.
