Considering the two guys who make this band happen have learned how to play their music themselves, the complex songs remind me of Frank Zappa; the people who judge this as being mere noise (which it does contain, albeit in the Merzbow sense of the noun) haven’t got the picture.

Search for them on the web, get a few samples, but really though, if you feel you’re into their type of music, imagine having it pound on you, hypnotically turning your head around. I mean, listening to a great track like “2 Morro Morro Land” is one thing, but listening to several of their tracks off this album in a row is startling, in a very good way. Get this!

The end of this album gets a little strange and very different from some of their other stuff, but this album is definitely worth listening to if you are into Lightning Bolt. And if you aren’t into Lightning Bolt, what the hell is wrong with you? Start listening now!
