This movie has a goofy love story that won the hearts of America, but that’s not why I recommend it. I love this movie because it did such a great job showing how the Titantic looked, and how it sunk.

omg. i love this movie. i was anticipating the release of a special edition ever since the movie came out! and, of course, it was well worth the wait to see all the deleted scenes and extra features.

I love this dvd set! Great extras, and of course, I simply LOVEEEEEE the movie! One of my favorite dvds! I think I might go watch it now! ;o)

I have always been obsessed with the story of the Titanic, especially as my whole family comes from Belfast and my greatgrandfathers worked at building it and the Olympic in the Harland and Woolf shipyards.

This film is a technical masterpiece, so you can overlook the oh-so-cheesy script and vapid love story (and yet still kind of enjoy it at the same time as a guilty pleasure). The last hour of the film, when the ship starts to sink the visuals are jaw-droppingly good.

Suspend the snark, and enjoy the spectacle.
