Yup, what I said before. The writing was pretty amateur. The final “battle” was drawn-out and ultimately disgusting. I was not supposed to mind the amoral behavior of the hero since the bad guy deserved it, but evisceration is just yucky. It wasn’t so bad that I quit listening but I certainly wouldn’t encourage others to rush out and read it.

Basic mystery. Nothing redeeming.
