This was only so-so. The pacing was too slow! And I don’t know why, but I’m not a big fan of Kareena Kapoor. It’s stupid as I’ve no reason other than this feeling I get when I watch her play. But near the end, in the battlefield/confrontation scenes I thought she was very good. She may win me over someday. And I liked how Asoka got his “evil” on. I just wished they’d show us a bit more on how he became a Buddhist (something I had to look up, it’s only mentioned in the end narrative). And ^{tiny spoiler} I was waiting to see him explain to wife #1 how he accidentally married wife #2. Let’s see him work himself out of that one! :D ^/spoiler
