A story about this — 3 years ago
An incredible movie. Some of it hit home. But it mostly reminded me of God’s power. Having experienced what I did this past year or two, I have gained an incredible amount of faith, hope, and strength. The movie reminded me of how bad things got for me in my life, in comparison to how things are now. I thank God for everything because he has moved my life from a state of tragedy to one of miracles and happiness.
What I’ve learned is to have faith. We all say that but, we really need to HAVE FAITH. It’s one thing to say you believe, but if everything you love, everything you know, everything is taken away, can you still lean on God without being angry with him or falling into deep depression, or worse, committing suicide?
We need to prepare ourselves for the worst. The trials are going to come. That’s inevitable. It’s how we handle them, that determines who we become and where we go in life. I found guidance and comfort in reading and learning about God. I thank God for preparing me for the battle before I went to war. There’s nothing worse than an unprepared soldier.
