WORTH CONSUMING!

Well I enjoyed it!

Push is a tale of people with various psychic powers: the Movers (telekinetics), Watchers who can see the future, Pushers who can put thoughts into your head, and so forth. Like Heroes’ Company, there is a shadowy group, The Division, intent on using these people as weapons – and experimenting on them to increase their powers. Only… when some of your ‘experiements’ can see the future or mess with your head, it’s only a matter of time before someone escapes – and takes your biggest secret with them.

That Push has been done on a fairly low budget feels rather obvious, but at the same time I rather liked the feel it gives to the film: no dashing between 16 different locations, no ultra-amazing outlandish powers. The people here come across as almost believable, sort of X-Men in the real world, and not a speck of spandex in sight!

I liked the concept a lot, and could just sit and drool over Chris Evans for 2 hours anyway! The story does get a bit convoluted – slightly hard to follow at points, and definitely not one to think about too deeply!
