Halfway through and unsure about continuing. I picked it up off the $4.98 table at Barnes and Noble because it mentioned Balham and I am pretty familiar with that area of London (actually heading there this week) so it seemed a happy coincidence. But the characters are only marginally likable and the brit-slang would be hard to understand if you didn’t have some inside knowledge. But I’m soldiering on…
