Why I want to consume this — 1 year ago

Well-known literary classic, of the colonial era.
Been on my To-do List for q awhile now, and have just figured out a way to take this read – One Part at a time – as here. :)
Altho’ am admittedly elbow-deep in closing work affairs, i do need a neat read in this ‘lull period’ (havin’ just finished Crichton’s “Next”).. And it’s been quite a cute read so far.. Enjoyably witty, hmm. ;)
Wishes all, minerva*

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was one of the first books I took from Gavin on vacation – first in a long line of purloined vacation reads and well worth the taking (I still have it – oops). Anyway – it is a wonderfully written story about several families in 1950s India. Almost sopa opera-like in the best way.
