Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming this — 2 years ago
This book isn’t one of my top priorities at the moment. I’ve been consuming it since last summer (summer of 2006), but because it’s so heavy, it usually stays at home, and I don’t make much progress in reading it because of how big/heavy it is. I’d read it in bed, but I like to read lying down, and I find it hard to lie down with this book and still be able to read it.
I do, once in a blue moon, take it out and read a whole book off (I do believe I’m up to the Voyage of the Dawn Treader), but mostly, it sits in the picnic basket.
Perhaps I’ll finish reading it this summer? Who knows.
