A story about this — 3 years ago
I’m not wild about Italian food. My favourite cuisine is French. This Italian cookbook I grabbed at the library last week, just to flip through. And I was surprised to find out that I really, really liked it. It was written by an Italian-Belgian woman, maybe that’s why the recipes seem more accessible to me (I’m not a very experienced cook, so need easy recipes and ingredients or I get scared ;) ). They’re still all traditional Italian dishes though, and she elaborates on the origin of the dish and the ingredients (I really like that).
It has a lovely layout too – I have to admit that I partly choose my cookbooks for nice photography and look&feel too, they’re more pleasant to work with.
I’m seriously considering buying this one for myself.
