NOT WORTH CONSUMING

A completely lack lustre album. All of the songs sound exactly the same, not a single one of them stands out. I listened to the entire thing all the way through only once because I have no desire to watse my time listening to it again. Sheryl seems to have fallen into the same rut as songstress Sarah Mclachlan; she has discovered what works for her commmercially and has stopped exploring and taking risks. Damn shame because we KNOW Sheryl is a truly stunning composer and songwriter. I did not hear any of that woman on this album. Maybe it was engineered by her evil twin.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I have to admit that the first time I listened to this, I was unimpressed. So I have really consumed this before. But I gave it another listen the day before yesterday. And yesterday. And will probably listen to it again today.

It is kind of growing on me.

One of the ways I can tell is that there are snatches of certain songs that come to me when I am doing something else. That haunt me and compel me back to listen once again.

Dangerous CD. You’ve been warned.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was not a ‘Globe Sessions’ album. There are some good songs on there, but it really took a long time for it to grow on me. Probably my least favorite of her albums.
