WORTH CONSUMING!

Seven Pounds is a surprising movie. I went in with no knowledge of the story at all. And I watched with an open mind just following the main character move through people’s lives, touching each one in a significant way. He had a cloak of mysteriousness about him which was not unveiled till towards the end. And then you saw how he had thought out his whole plan of personal redemption. I loved the sound track and the love interest was very real compared to the standoffishness of the main character. Little did we know what was in store for her. It is a must see movie! I cried, and you most likely will too.

Seven pounds is a story of redemption. It’s reference somewhat taken from the Merchant of Venice, the director skillfully takes the audience through what the main character is feeling and at the end, tells us why. It’s pace may be a little prodding along at times but it is by no means slow. Besides making me think about what it means to be a “good” person and it also is one of the shows that moved me to tears. Excellent!

I have mixed feelings about this movie. It wasn’t easy to figure out in the beginning. The plot seemed a little foggy. As the story carried on, it became quite clear what was happening and I was able to do some foreshadowing… Hmm. I wanted to cry, but didn’t. There were parts that were lovely and others that I didn’t expect~
