WORTH CONSUMING!
I picked up this book because it was placed on the Youngstown State University English Festival book list. I loved it! I have been recommending to my adult friends and teen patrons of the bookmobile. What an interesting concept.!

Excellent distopian story of a society where everyone gets plastic surgery at age 16 to become pretty. Prior to the surgery, teens age 12-15 live in Uglyville in dormatories. Tally meets Shay a few months before her operation and Shay tells her that some people don’t have the operation. Very interesting book, first in a trilogy.
