What an ace, and as is always the case, this film would be nothing without him.

He plays this gruff character with ease, and next to him, the already disappointing performances of the young cast members come out looking/sounding even worse.

Though anything with Eastwood’s name attached is most certainly worth seeing.

Gran Torino is another home run from Clint Eastwood! It manages to be funny, heart-warming, and heart-breaking. Highly recommended.
