WORTH CONSUMING!

I watched this movie alone the first time i saw it, minutes ago. So I’ll be able to rewatch and enjoy it again like new when I share it with others, which i will be doing.

Some of the scenes and lines didn’t flow quite as well as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, but it had loads of it’s own charm. And remember everyone, this isn’t so much a remake, as another movie based on the book, seperate from the previous movie. So let’s stop comparing and just enjoy the show!

To those that like story, this movie tells a lot more of it than the old movie did. Sometimes it seems like they’re rushing through scenes a little, but maybe that’s becuase they needed to save time to fit in all the flash backs and other stuff

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I found this movie creepy and disappointing. Usually, I enjoy Johnny Depp, but in this film he reminded me of Jim Carey and not in a good way. The oompa loopmas were not nearly as cool-looking in this film as in the original.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought I would hate this… it seemed rather creepy from the trailers but Johnny Depp was brilliant! i LOVED this version (and still have fondness for the Gene Wilder version from my childhood)

WORTH CONSUMING!

I expected to like this movie (yeah, I’m a Johnny Depp fan) but not as much as I did. Depp made this movie for me, so many quotable lines, so fabulously delivered. The boy who played Charlie was sweet as well, and Charlie’s grandparent were also great. I really want to watch this again.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Watched this on the 9.5 hr flight from DC to Sao Paulo. At first I felt lucky they were showing this movie because I had wanted to see it, but actually it just creeped me out.
