WORTH CONSUMING!
I made a batch of this from David Lebovitz’s Perfect Scoop. As I tend to when I make his recipes, I reduced the sugar slightly. It turned out really well – very smooth, and with a nice hint of ginger. I thought there could’ve been more ginger flavour, as did a friend, but my wife and others have said there’s enough. Probably next time I make it I’ll embed candied ginger chunks as well.
