I’m allowed to love myself and others, want what I want, do what I want and be whom I want to be.

I liked the movie myself. I am a lot for women to be empowered, and though I have watched all three versions of the movie(1939,1957, and 2008), and though I loved the original, I liked this version as well. I have seen folks bash this film, but what really made me happy is the fact that although Mary and her husband was estranged, she let him know that although she was busy and things were not the best, she was more evolved and if she wanted to or not, she’ll deal with him when she could. I loved that last scene the most. so empowering.

This movie wasn’t the best but I liked it enough to get through it. Though I must admit some of the lines were a bit silly and didn’t see a reason for them but hey, what can you do?

Loved Jada’s parts…..she played the perfect lesbian lol
