I loved the original herbie movies. this isn’t quite as good as them but still better than most remakes. they did change by having a girl be the driver.

Good, clean Disney fun. Love-bug Herbie never loses his appeal, even at high speeds. Lindsay Lohan behind the wheel (sober) doesn’t have to do much driving, either, as Herbie takes off after a Nextel trophy. NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, and others make cameo appearances. Matt Dillon plays the “villian” to a T. This might make a good double feature with “Talladega Nights.”
