WORTH CONSUMING!

First of all, I’m an old X-Files addict. I watched the show religiously for years and had a lot of episodes on tape, yes TAPE! I feel that the movies fall short of the series. I think that there were huge mistakes on both movies and that they should have followed the same story/plot line as the show. I would have liked to have seen this 2008 movie wrap up the series for good. Unless they are thinking of bringing it back. I would have liked the movie to have taken up where the series ended. Maybe given us some answers like where Samantha is, where William (Mulder and Scully’s son) is, etc. The movie seemed like it would have made an excellent 2-part episode for the series, but not exactly what I was hoping for an X-Files movie to be about.

I am however glad that those two are still together and that they handled it the way they did by not getting those two really together until the series was on its way out. “The thrill is in the chase, never in the capture.”

Be sure to watch through the credits because you will get one last glimpse of Mulder and Scully!

WORTH CONSUMING!

dvred it a long tiome ago and kept finding other things i wanted to watch first. finally decided to watch it and get it over with because it was taking up space. actually wasn’t a bad movie. i like looking at amamnda peet, and i like snow so those two things upped the movies watchability factor greatly. i liked howwe see the struggles mulder and scully have had to take since the disbanding of the x-files.
