I agree with hazel7074. While some of the statistical analysis went over my head for a night time read, I completely soaked in the essence of the book. I still think “luck” happens to those who are best prepared for it.

This was interesting, but some of the statistical and probability analysis went over my head. However, I think I got the big picture about how success is often undeserved and how experts are often wrong. This sounds pessimistic, but unfortunately I think that he’s right. Being a trader by occupation, the author bases the book on the stock market and financial industry. The book was published in 2001, and looking at the state of that field right now, it looks his words apply more than ever.
