A story about this — 4 years ago
So, what’s it all about? A CIA agent (Leonardo Di Cappuccino, still on form) on the ground in the Middle East, who comes to realise that his superior, other-side-of-the-satellites watcher (Russell Crowe, doing that accent/grey hair/weight gain = ‘superior performance’ con) may not entirely have his back. Then there’s the head of local intelligence services – can he be trusted?
I didn’t have many expectations, but this was actually okay. A slightly different slant on the Iraq war, more personal without being alienating. Fell into more than a few cliches, but watchable and reasonable exciting. Alas, not even close the best work from Da Vinci, Crowe or Ridley Scott.
