A story about this — 38 weeks ago
Christmas range, 2008
When the xmas products became available, in October, I allowed myself to pick just one – why I chose this I’m not quite sure, apart from the fact it wasn’t too in-your-face christmassy, and the mint would go with the Ice Blue soap I still have.
This one is a mix of mint, mandarine and grapefruit (I think!), and is quite a heady smell. As in, it completely stunk out my livingroom, sitting in its bag awaiting use. As in, two days later I came home from work and at the front door I realised I could smell the Snowdrops scent through the whole flat!!
Such a powerful whiff called for a half-ballistic test, and difficulties of chopping it up aside, definitely the way to go – it is strong! Alas, it’s also not 100% pleasant… just… I dunno. Sharply mint, almost medicinal. Once I’d been in the bath a goodly while I did get used to it, but while never nasty it just wasn’t… comforting bath scent?
And then the bits. They are very pretty. And very VERY clingy!! O.o
I wouldn’t not use another one of these, if someone gave me one, but I doubt I’ll be buying another. Still, good to try the new stuff!
