Movie without an identity — 3 years ago
NOT WORTH CONSUMING
The Ring was awesome and was what got me interested in Japanese horror. Ringu was not as scary but was more emotional and had a more coherent plot. The Ring two was a cheesy sequel to the first movie that did what so many bad sequels do. It threw out all the “rules” of the first movie. Aiden gets possesed by Samarah because his mom burns a tape. Huh? Even more dissapointingly it was not scary, but only somewhat disturbing. Also the CG deer really urked me.
In short, if you watch this movie because you liked the first movie, don’t expect the same quality of movie.
