The storyline is very predictable. It annoyed me though that the whole movie was the predictable ugly duckling turns into swan. I want to see this done with a guy though. Kinda change roles. I guess this is a similar storyline to drive me crazy. In the end I think I enjoyed the movie but I don’t think it would be one of my favourites. The good thing about it was that Laney didn’t go into the popular group in the end and she didn’t change what she believed in ever for the guy.

It’s hardly original but I do have a soft spot for this piece of teen fluff. Sure you know exactly what’s going to happen but the performances aren’t bad and I go weak at the knees over Rachel Leigh Cook.
