WORTH CONSUMING!

I thought the bond between these girls is inspiring. They have entierly different summer plans and their silly idea of taking turns with this pair of pants connects them through their memorable moments with the pants. I think almost every teenage girl and young women can relate to any one of these girl’s stories and become inspired by their lessons.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Just got back from a friends house and we watched it and I loved it! I’m not one for chick flicks, but I’ve been getting into them more lately, and I wanted to see this one, also my friend just happened to be renting it. We both cried at least once though. It’s a beautiful, touching story, and would love to read the book some day :)

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I guess I was expecting more from this movie. I’ve never read the book and didn’t know a whole lot about the story. It was very… teenage girlish. Not that there’s anything bad about that, but it’s more appropriate for teenage girls than it is for adults. I couldn’t identify with much of anything in the movie although it left me teary at times. The best part was the beautiful views in Greece.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m not a fan of ‘chick-flicks’ and was skeptical when I walked into the theatre, but the truth is, I loved this movie! I found the stories of these girls were real and powerful, even though the plot had a some signficant flaws. I liked the soundtrack so much that I went out and bought it and it remains one of my favourite CDs.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I guess this is a chick flick. Although I could appreciate elements of it (scenery was nice, casting was good), I just couldn’t really get into it. Good to know that there’s a line I’m not interested in crossing – I was worrying people for a while.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think this was a super cute movie. It’s a chick flick, but a good one. I thought the idea of the magical pants was dumb, and maybe it is, but it is effectively used as a thread to tie the plotlines together and as a symbol to summon inner strength.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie stars the girl from Joan of Arcadia and the girl from Real Women have curves, along with a couple others. So far so good. (Yes, I am watching it while I type. Yes, I am a dork.)
