This is actually better than the original (which was not especially good). At least it has a plot this time. Elliot gets cold feet at the altar, runs off to save the dachshund Weenie from returning to his owner, has several misadventures, and they all live happily ever after. A few real laughs tucked into this one, too. But the interaction between characters never rises above the playground level. It’s just so-so.
