A story about this — 4 years ago
I enjoyed this romcom more than I expected. A nice take on ‘life is what happens when you’re making other plans’, and Ashton is a lot more watchable in this movie, finally out of his usual pulling faces and ‘whoa dude!’ character. The director could have taken a risk and go for a more original ending, (I would have preferred that because real life is never that convenient) but oh well, this was sweet.
One thing though that bothered/distracted me throughout the movie were Amanda Peet’s unearthly white teeth. Is she sponsored by Colgate or something?
