Rotation for the non-industrial set — 4 years ago
He calls it garden farming. I suppose it is what we do. Sort of. We feed ourselves. And he praises it and supports it and encourages it.
The best thing about all Logsdon books are his personal stories — what he’s done, what somebody he knows has done, what he’s heard about. And when he talks about something, he makes it seem do-able, unlike so many “experts” who want to seem so expert as to imply that poor mortals can’t do whatever it is they are expert about. He inspires me. Maybe he will you too.
I got this from the library so I didn’t get time to write down many quotes, but there are good ones. And there are things I disagree with (I love electric fences, for example). But I reckon everything Logsdon has written is worth reading.
