WORTH CONSUMING!

I said it was “Worth it”, but I’m not sure why. I really didn’t understand anything. I’m not sure how it started and don’t remember how it ended. I’m considering changing to Not Worth it.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Immensely dull, ego-driven, “eye candy” vanity project for the incredibly overrated Terrence Mallick. Think World War II as seen through the eyes of National Geographic. You see more shots of leaves and trees with bullet holes int hem than you do the actors. The movie also continues Nick Nolte’s record for the number of consecutive years an actor finds a way to scream his lines in a movie.

St. Augustine quotation — 7 years ago

There’s a quote in here from St. Augustine’s Confessions which starts, “Who put this in us, this great evil?” I wonder if James Jones included it in the original novel.
