Along with Case Histories and One Good Turn, When Will There Be Good News? is the 3rd in the Jackson Brodie detective series by author Kate Atkinson. I enjoyed all 3 and this may be the best of the series so far. We follow 3 different stories (full of surprising connections and coincidence) and learn more about Jackson Brodie and all the other great characters. Hope we see more.

An excellent book, Atkinson has further developed the character of Jackson Brodie brilliantly. I loved all his brooding and perspective on life. Not only that, but a clever detective story too. It was great to have a book I couldn’t wait to pick up again.
