The first time I heard about pisco, it was on an episode of Three Sheets, which is basically a traveling drinking show. It’s also free to watch on Hulu.

Anyway, pisco is like grappa, only not really. It’s most commonly consumed as a pisco sour.

While hanging out at a friend’s house, there was a digging through the liquor cabinet incident, and someone pulled out the pisco.

I love liquor. Love it. But this stuff made my eyes water. Literally. As one of my inebriated companions said, “It tastes like fire from the devil’s mouth.”

I’d like to try a pisco sour though.
