WORTH CONSUMING!

I tried this ages ago, applying as the title suggests: as an anti-cellulite massaging exfoliator to my derriere – and hated it! It’s very, VERY heavily greasy, and just not something I enjoyed feeling coated in.

However, lured by a Lush offer, I decided to give it another go. And this time I’ve again taking a clue from the name: Lush have removed the ‘Backside Slayer’ tag, and I too avoided that area, in favour of areas that were in need of the moisture along with the exfoliation: feet, elbows, knees.

It’s pretty indulgent spending £5 for such uses, but I really like the bar on these areas! The ‘grease’ is transformed into a wonderfully softening moisturiser, and the exfoliation is appreciated.

One tip: obviously applying something greasy to your feet makes it a bit dangerous to then try to stand on slippery bath/shower floors – be careful!

Second tip: although it’s nice to let the heaviest grease soak off again in hot water, I’d still suggest leaving a Buffy-ing to near the end, otherwise you’ll end up sitting on some of those scratchy exfoliating bits!

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’d never bought anything from Lush before. I always thought they were too expensive. I went in just to catch a whiff of the contents and was immediately drawn to the Body Butters. A friend of mine told me she had bought one of them and says she doesn’t go back to lotions again. That sold me, so while I was in there, I picked the “Buffy The Backside Slayer”, not realizing it was specifically for the derriere. I tried it that same night and I was convinced that my money was well-spent! I want to try the rest of the body butters, but I want to come back to this one when I’m done.
