The film reminded me of About Schmidt in it’s somewhat slow pace and dry humour, not to mention awkwardness of a few of the situations Don gets into along his journey. The memorable ‘Lolita’ scene and the brave ending, along with Bill Murray’s fine performance are worth a watch.
Oh, and were can I get me one of those track suits?
There was only a handful of people seeing this as well, and they all grumbled about the non-ending. But, I loved it. I love Bill Murray and think he can make even the most self-centered, ego trippin’ characters totally sympathetic and endearing. As for the end, it was just vague enough to leave some questions.

I enjoyed this, though I’m not really ready to commit to saying anything else about it, except that this is exactly the sort of movie that you’d expect to end up with if you paired Jim Jarmusch and Bill Murray. Which, in a way, is disappointing.

Great, subtle and engaging. I loved it.
