Brittany Murphy’s character was a wealthy little girl whose mother and rock star father died when she was a little girl.

She held up the memory of her father – and the legacy of his music and possessions – for twenty years.

In her late 20s, her world as a happy-go-lucky rich girl comes crashing down. And she meets a little girl that misses her own father. They try to form a bond. In some ways they are exact opposites – but they have so much in common too.

While that is going on, she also tries to start a relationship with a young up-and-coming rock star, but it’s a rocky road.
