NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I really wanted to like this movie, so as the plot unfolded and I realised that it as just another poorly executed romantic comedy, I was deeply disappointed. I thought this film would really be about people who love dogs and fall in love, but the dogs were really just props. I don’t even remember the ending because I became so absorbed in my knitting that I totally missed it.

Boo. What this movie needed was more dogs. It’s like they just threw that in there somewhere along the way and decided it was a good title. The camera work at the dog park was really annoying and there was no chemistry between Lane and Cusak. Sad because I really wanted to like it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A normal romantic comedy with its corny points, but no more so than real life. This movie felt very true and honest. Quite enjoyable. I recommend it.
