This bubble bar has a stimulating floral scent, really nice and fresh. It smells quite strong and foams up nicely so you can maybe even stretch it to have 4 baths if you don’t want them overly bubbly. This is a nice one to use when you’ve been working hard and need some time to relax and re-focus.

The website says clary sage, coriander, spearmint and geranium – who knows what that will smell like? Added to the fact that all of my Lush retro order came smelling of popcorn (just on the outside, thankfully!), I rather assumed the mint would overwhelm – good idea for my snuffles!

In fact, the scent was nothing like I’d imagined: it was more sweet and slightly floral than herby or minty at all; I only got a whiff of herbs lingering in the bathroom after the bath. It really reminded me of another Lush product, but I couldn’t quite think what. Amandopondo, perhaps? Hmm. Whatever, it was really really nice – this is the first Retro product that’s actually impressed me – but very subtle.
