I am not sure why this movie has gotten such a high rating on Amazon.

If you want to see a good vampire aliens movie, see Not of This Earth (Traci Lords stars) or better yet, the scifi/fantasy movie Vampirella (1996).

One of the best scifi/thriller films about vampires from Mars was the old classic, Planet of Vampires (1966). A ship carrying an announced delegation of aliens headed for Earth crash lands on Mars. Astronauts from Earth sent to rescue them retrieve a female survivor. She ends up being a lot more trouble than her looks implied. Moral of the story is don’t pick up strays, especially if the are female.

See the Mars Movie Guide if you are really hurting to see a lot of entertainment involving the infamous red planet. It is amazing how much as been produced in the last half century. Then again, a half century is a long time!
