Not enough Banjo & Sullivan on the soundtrack, I’d say. I don’t think I heard a single refrain of “I’m home getting hammered while she’s out getting nailed.” Which is a shame, really.

Yep. 1000 Corpses was more over the top, I think, if I remember correctly. Or at least had a little more humor to it. It sets up the three main characters and the sheriff’s brother. Sorry if I’ve spoiled House of 1,000 Corpses for anyone. I was kind of sad there was a return visit to the Pussy Liqour and Beer store in Devil’s Rejects, though.
